Finding a Space for developing a closer relationship with yourself
In-person and online counseling in Seattle for adults utilizing Mindfulness CBT, DBT, EMDR, Sensory/Somatic-based, and Occupational Therapy tools to lessen symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, challenges of neurodiversity and life transitions
Your Individual Story
At Centered Counseling and Therapy, creating a supportive therapeutic relationship empowers you to navigating life transitions, managing stressors, the impact of trauma, or medical challenges and neurodiversity. Anxiety may be experienced as racing thoughts, muscle tension, sleep disruption, or panic. Depression might look like exhaustion, irritability, low self-esteem, or feeling disconnected from oneself and others. If you are neurodivergent, sensory overwhelm, burnout, or difficulty with emotional regulation may add another layer of stress. Many adults I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure how to manage anxiety, depression, or the lasting effects of trauma.
In therapy, I use a holistic approach to navigating these challenges through interventions such as Mindfulness based CBT and DBT, EMDR, and sensory strategies to help you reduce anxiety and depression symptoms and process trauma safely and effectively. Together, we build coping skills that support emotional regulation, resilience, increased confidence, and a stronger ability to respond to stress in ways that feel grounded and sustainable.
Meet Anna
As both a licensed counselor and occupational therapist, I bring a unique, mind-body integrative perspective to mental health care. My work blends evidence-based therapy with practical tools to support emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful change.
I look forward to working with clients in the process of letting go of ineffective thoughts and behaviors, learning new strategies to enhance their relationship with themselves and with others, and to create greater feelings of authenticity and empowerment. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the process. Together, we focus on what’s keeping you stuck and build strategies that support real growth in your daily life.
Every person is a story of their own making and being an engaged listener to each client’s narrative is a privilege.

My Therapeutic Approach
I practice from a humanistic, strength-based perspective. I view you as the expert in your own life. My role is to help you make sense of patterns, process difficult experiences, and build skills that support sustainable change. I value mindfulness, body awareness, and neuroscience-informed care. Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you reconnect with your capacity for resilience, clarity, and growth. As both a therapist and occupational therapist, I combine mental health treatment with body-based tools that address how stress and trauma impact the nervous system.
My work is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming. I tailor EMDR, sensory tools, and mindfulness strategies to your unique individual needs, whether you’re adjusting to a major life change, healing from trauma, or parenting through burnout. Together, we focus on reducing anxiety and depression, increasing emotional regulation, and creating meaningful, lasting change grounded in neuroscience and whole-person care.
